Ford: Better than Ever

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's recent crash testing has yielded Ford-friendly results: 2013 Ford models have been awarded five stars overall.

The 2013 Ford Taurus and 2013 Ford Explorer, according to the NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program, have earned the top scores for overall vehicles. The assessment takes into consideration frontal and side impacts and the vehicle's resistance to rollovers. Though Ford models have always been commended for their comfort, style, and safety, this is the first time that these models have made such high marks.

Ford attributes the coveted five-star ratings to the redesign of the passenger airbag and the new restraint systems. The Explorer, in addition, has added a new airbag on the passenger side at knee height. Both models come with airbags on both the driver and front passenger, and both are dual-stage.

Especially in the northeast, having a vehicle that is suited to the ever-changing weather conditions is important. In the NJ area, weather has been harsh so far this winter. There's ice on the roads in the early morning, and the winter season hasn't been light on precipitation. Plus, in the summer, you want a vehicle that's great for heading down the shore and taking camping trips.

You should never compromise safety, no matter what you want your car to do. For New Jerseyans that are looking for vehicles that suit their lifestyle and location, have plenty of style, and don't skimp on the safety, there are plenty of Ford dealers in NJ that will point them in the direction of the highly-ranked 2013 Explorer or Taurus models.

New Jersey Ford Dealers Offer Options for Every Preference

If you live in New Jersey, are shopping for cars, and you like to buy American, you might want to check out a Ford dealership in the area. Before you make a decision, there are many different vehicle options you'll need to look over in order to determine what is going to work best for you. With so many different Ford vehicles on sale, however, you'll need to narrow it down to what kind of vehicles are right for you, your budget, and your needs.

Ford has a wide selection of vehicles, so first of all, you'll need to decide if you need a car or something larger. Next, weigh your driving needs against the gas mileage that would be most beneficial for you. If you have a long commute, you might want to invest in something with really good gas mileage; if your job is ten minutes away, then you might want to prioritize more cargo space or on a style you like. If you want to go with the classic muscle car, the Mustang is a surprisingly affordable option that will wow people with its stylish and sleek design. For a small car to drive through the city, the Ford Fiesta is a compact car that will fit in almost any space comfortably and make parallel parking a thing of ease.

Of course, if you want something larger, there are several different SUV and truck models at your fingertips. Should you want a smaller SUV, the Escape is an excellent option, especially with the new model coming out later this year. It essentially looks like a smaller Explorer, which is also an excellent choice, should you want a larger SUV. There is always the classic F-150 truck also, and although the Ranger is no longer in production as Ford decided to remove its smallest truck model from the lineup, the Ford F-150 is still boasts a top performance. If you ever want something a bit larger and heavier duty, there are the F-250 and F-350 models, which come with larger payload packages and greater towing ability.

All in all, there is no end to the options available from the NJ Ford dealers at Gentilini Motors. Check out the different models for yourself and find the one that suits all of your needs. It'll be easier than you think!

Ford Unveils 2013 Fusion As Sprint Cup Series Racer

As perhaps a nod of commitment to its best seller of the year, the Ford Fusion got a reboot that showed off a sleeker, more modern profile and several sustainability features. After it was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show last month, NJ Ford Dealers and dealers around the nation were clamoring for fleets of the new Fusion to push through the New Year. Little did Ford fans know this was just the beginning.

This week, Ford joined NASCAR's Race Week festivities leading up to the Daytona 500 by unveiling their addition to the Sprint Cup Series: a stock car version of the Ford Fusion.

According to a statement, Ford hopes that the reemergence of stock car racing will reconnect fans to the sport of racing. Ford—one of the most recognized American brands in the world—feels they are the perfect contender to humanize racing and bring fans to the sport.

"We wanted Fusion to be the car that helped return 'stock car' to NASCAR," Jamie Allison, director of Ford Racing said. "I think fans, when they see the car, are just going to smile and cheer. It is going to reengage them with the sport and make the sport better because there is just something natural about seeing race cars that look like cars in their driveways."

New and used car dealers in NJ specializing in Ford have cheered the automaker's return to popularity with smaller, more efficient compacts and sedans. The Ford redesign continues the company's trend of sleek design coupled with practical, affordable models. Bringing the Fusion to new audiences and showcasing design versatility position Ford to once again lead American car sales in 2012.
