Chevrolet Announces 13 New or Redesigned Vehicles for 2013

General Motors (GM) announced recently that the company is going to be redesigning or releasing all-new designs for 13 different Chevrolet vehicles for 2013.  The vehicles announced in this include the Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Malibu, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Sonic, and more.  In result of this, many vehicle dealerships, including Chevrolet Dealer in NJ and other states specifically on the east coast are going to be committed to moving their inventory over the next few months in anticipation of the new models.

This is good news for Chevrolet buyers and those that actively look for these types of vehicles because the price tag for some of the older models will be lowered in anticipation of the new vehicles that are due off of the assembly line over the next few months.  Those individuals that are looking to secure an older Chevrolet model can have a greater capability now going forward to successfully negotiate a lower price for their desired car or truck.  In addition, enthusiasts of the specific General Motors brand will have more excitement and newer vehicles to look forward to in case they are in the market for a new car in the next year.

General Motors spokesman, Michael Albano, said “13 is a big year for Chevrolet.”  Albano furthered “There’s a lot of chatter about others and a couple will be complete surprises, which we’re thrilled about.”

The main surprise for car and truck buyers may actually not be a surprise whatsoever as many loyal Chevrolet truck buyers are already anticipating an all-new version of the award winning Silverado.  This full size pickup truck is expected to have a slightly larger engine and unique read bed that can help its efficiency being used in a working environment.  In addition, changes being made to Impala and Corvette are also expected by car and truck buyers that are loyal to Chevrolet.

Car buying in the United States has improved over the past few months.  Since this time last year, the trend for car buying actually peaked at the conclusion of 2011, then dropped for 4 consecutive months before reaching the trough of the curve in the summer months of 2012.  The purchase of light trucks has been steadily rising since the end of 2010.  Although these statistics are representative of a highly volatile crude oil market, which has been leading gasoline prices higher over the past 6 months.  Still, car and light truck buying is expected to continue to gain steady and incremental increases over the next year which is good news for auto makers and certainly for Chevrolet that is rolling out 13 new or redesigned models.
