Why Leasing a Car is Right for You

After buying a house, a new car is the second biggest purchase that most of us make during our lifetimes. Since the majority of shoppers do not have enough cash on hand for this kind of transaction, most buyers look towards financing options for their new vehicle. The decision to either lease or finance to buy in this situation can be extremely confusing, especially for first-time buyers. You must take several different factors and aspects of your own lifestyle into account, while weighing the option to either buy or lease. This article can show you some of the reasons why a sign and drive lease deal may be right for you.

About Price – Why Leasing is Such a Deal

The age old adage about leasing is that you get "more car for less money," with a lease. This is due to the fact that the car's monthly payments are normally smaller with a lease because you aren't actually paying for the sales price of the vehicle, but rather what the depreciation of the car's value will be. The car's "predicted future value" is the amount that the vehicle is expected to be worth at the end of the term of lease, also called "residual value."

The residual value is then subtracted from the overall purchase price of the vehicle, and the remainder is the amount on which payments are based. So if a car's residual value is 55 percent after three years of use, that means a $30,000 car would be worth $16,500 at the end of the lease. You'd make lease payments on the remaining $13,500, rather than the full $30,000; there are, however, interest fees and taxes included within the term of a lease.

The Other Advantages of Leasing

When it comes to putting down money for a lease, the amount due up front can range from zero to several thousand dollars. Thus, if you do not have a lot of money saved up for a down payment, looking into a special lease deal may give you a much wider variety of vehicles to choose from.

Leases are also great for people who get bored with their cars easily, as many only last about three years; once the lease is over, many auto dealers offer trade back deals for new models or different upgrades. Since you'd be leasing every few years, you could also guarantee yourself up-to-date technology and safety features in your car.

Additionally, since many new-car bumper-to-bumper warranties last for three years, the car is typically covered for the entire duration of the lease term. If you enjoy having the newest high-tech features, leasing could be better for you. And if you have grown fond of your car by the end of your lease, you can usually still purchase the vehicle at that point in time.

Therefore, if you like to keep your options open, and only want to put up a small amount of money up front, a lease may be perfect for you. Make sure to visit Gentilini Motors for the best sign and drive lease deals in NJ.

The 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD

Chevy unveiled its new 2015 Silverado 2500 HD at the Texas State Fair this past fall to rave reviews. While the truck was not completely new in design (the chassis was redesigned for the 2011 model year), there were many upgraded features that made their debut at the event, including new cabs, upgraded interior designs and plenty of other improvements to the overall vehicle. Gentilini Motors in South Jersey is one of the top car dealerships in the area for Chevys, boasting a full line of these impressive new trucks.

Making this year's models all about customization, GM promised to continue offering more than 150 combinations of HD pickups. The automaker stated that "one size does not fit all," and thus will allow buyer's choices in body style, drive-train, bed length, and axle ratio, as well as one of three different power plant models. The Silverado's base power plant is a gasoline-burning 6.0-liter Vortec V8, rated at 360 horsepower with 380 pound-feet of torque running through a six-speed automatic transmission. The most popular choice, however, is the Duramax 6.6-liter diesel. This turbocharged engine is rated at 397 horsepower with 765 pound-feet of torque through an Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission.

The new Silverado was described by reviewers as having a conservative traditional pickup design, with aerodynamics playing a big role in its shape. At the event, GM engineers explained that the newly sculpted bodywork was intended to provide more airflow to the engines while reducing wind noise in the vehicle cabin. Additionally, the cargo beds of the Silverado have been redesigned to incorporate better illumination, additional tie downs, EZ Lift, lower tailgates, and CornerStep bumpers. GM has also fully integrated a cruise control system into the model, which allows the driver to maintain a consistent speed without having to manually down-shift gears or apply brakes. Furthermore, the system uses the functions of Auto Grade Braking and Diesel Exhaust Braking, which claims to prolong brake life and frictional overheating. GM's StabiliTrak with Trailer Sway Control is also standard on all models.

The favorite portion of the 2015 Silverado 2500 HD for reviewers at the event, however, was the upgraded interior. The new interior boasts large, vertical vents at four positions to provide plenty of cabin airflow, while the center cluster is reserved for infotainment, complete with the latest eight inch display and IntelliLink connectivity suite, as well as climate and auxiliary controls. There is also a storage compartment up front configured with a 110-volt outlet, an outstanding five USB ports, four 12-volt outlets and an SD card slot.

There was an excess of 475,000 heavy duty pickups sold in the United States in 2013. The newly released Chevy Silverado 2500 HD is considered to be an industry leader with significant upgrades to both its interior and exterior. Gentilini Motors, one of the best car dealerships in South Jersey, carries the full line of 2015 Silverados and is ready to assist you in customizing the perfect model for your needs.
