At Gentilini Motors, we love the spring time. The weather gets warmer, the flowers and trees begin to bloom, and baseball season is back. Plus, we're closer to beach season. Another reason why we love spring is because we can offer a variety of new specials on new and pre-owned vehicles from Ford, Chevrolet, and more. If you're looking for new or used car dealerships in South Jersey, Gentilini Motors in Woodbine, Cape May County, NJ is the name to remember.

Car Care Tips

Whether you decide that now is the best time to buy a new or used car or not, our team wanted to provide you with a few key tips to make sure you get the most life and best performance out of your vehicle. Even though winter wasn't too bad this year, the cold temperatures and snow and ice can wreak havoc on your vehicle very quickly. Now that spring is just about here, it's the perfect time to take care of those issues so your vehicle will be ready for those weekend trips down the shore when the weather gets warmer. Here are a few tips to remember:

Have Your Battery and Spark Plugs Checked: When the temperatures are colder, your electrical system needs to work a lot harder to keep this powered. The cold could seriously drain your battery, plugs, and wires, which is why we recommend that you have those checked now just in case.

Inspect Your Brakes: Your brakes have a tough time in winter as well. We recommend having your lines, hoses, brake fluid inspected in addition to your brakes so you know if anything needs to be replaced before something worse happens down the road.

Check Tire Pressure and Get Your Tires Rotated: Cold temperatures can significantly deflate your tires. This not only affects tire pressure but can be a safety risk as well. Check your tires' pressure and get them rotated regularly to balance wear from daily use.

Replace Your Windshield Wipers: The snow and ice can damage your wipes, causing them to crack and not work as well. You should replace your wipers every six months to a year. So if you haven't done so in a while or notice that they're damaged, it's time to change them.
We look forward to seeing many of you in the showroom this spring!
